Restaurant to Another World is a Japanese cooking fantasy isekai anime television series directed by Masato Jinbo and licensed by Crunchyroll and Funimation. This anime series is based on the light novel series of the same name by Junpei Inuzuka and Katsumi Enami. The anime series adaptation was released on July 4, 2017. The second season was launched on October 2, 2021.

We assume that the third season will be the final season of the series and it’s difficult to predict what might actually take place in the future. The first and second seasons of Restaurant To Another World followed the original storyline as in the light novel series. Nekoya will likely be the main focus in the third season as well.

As per Monsters and Critics, the last two episodes from the second season began adapting the previously published sixth volume of the light novel, meaning there would be enough source material for forthcoming seasons to be created.

The restaurant specializes in serving Japanese renditions of well-known meals from the United States and Europe.

 

Although it is open during regular business hours, the restaurant is usually closed on weekends. It primarily draws city employees because it is accessible throughout working hours. The weekend events, however, are another way this restaurant differentiates from the competition. Because Saturdays are special, the eatery opens covertly on certain days.

 

It unlocks a secret door that leads to a fascinating world full of fantastical creatures. Elves, dragons, animals, and strange creatures inhabit this world. These strange customers are welcome to dine at the restaurant on the weekends and enjoy its distinctive menu. 

 

Some of them frequent this restaurant and their presence really enhances the welcoming atmosphere there. The show’s protagonist is Nekoya, one of the restaurant’s waitresses. However, it has evolved into more than just a restaurant; it now serves as a gathering place for their animals.
