Are we getting another season of the sexy legal drama? Starring the powerhouse performer of all time, Emayatzy Corinealdi as Los Angeles attorney Jax Stewart, the series highlights multiple love interests, a high-profile murder, and whatnot!
Though Reasonable Doubt isn’t entirely based on a true story, per press materials, the series was “loosely based on celebrity attorney Shawn Holley, who has advised an impressive roster of clients including the Kardashian and Jenner families, Lindsay Lohan, Justin Bieber, Tupac Shakur and Katt Williams.”
The series was created by Scandal writer and Little Fires Everywhere producer Rammala Mohamed. It has Kerry Washington onboard as EP and director. Reasonable Doubt also stars McKinley Freeman, Michael Ealy, and Sean Patrick Thomas. So far there’s only one season.

Will Reasonable Doubt have a season 2?
As of January 2023, Reasonable Doubt is yet to be renewed for the second season. That’s right, Hulu is yet to greenlight the series for season 2. But will it be renewed? Most likely, yes. It’s not uncommon for streaming services to wait a little bit before they renew another season. The show was a great success and the creators and producers would definitely renew the series further.
Also, as per news, Emayatzy will not be returning. Sadly, Reasonable Doubt wouldn’t be the same without our criminal defense attorney! She recently addressed the possibility of a second season in an interview with Today. “There is much more runway for Jax and her world,” she said. “I think the people would love to see what happens after they see the finale.” Let’s await an official confirmation from the makers.
The Cast: Who’s going to be in Reasonable Doubt season 2?
For the second season, the return of all the cast members will be seen. We can expect Emayatzy Corinealdi, Tim Jo, McKinley Freeman, Angela Grovey, Michael Ealy and Thaddeus J. Mixson, interpreting the characters: Jax Stewart, Daniel, Lewis, Krystal, Damon and Spenser to reprise their roles.
