Based on the COVID-19 Pandemic and the manner in which it impacted the world, the upcoming feature film will have its focus on three particular medical visionaries who tried their best to contain the spread of the Pandemic when it struck in 2020. Lord Miller is a production company founded by Phil Lord & Chris Miller whose works include, ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ which premiered in 2023, ‘Strays’ an adventure comedy which was directed by Josh Greenbaum, ‘Cocaine Bear’ a horror comedy starring Ray Liotta, Keri Russell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and more, ‘The Afterparty’ which originally aired in 2022, ‘The Last Man on Earth’ a sitcom and more. Phil Lord & Chris Miller are also recipients of numerous accolades.
‘The Premonition’ will follow how the dangers of COVID-19 spread, was beginning to be predicted based on the information that was coming from China. Despite world leaders assuring that their citizens need not be alarmed, the devastating consequences of the spread of the pandemic was understood by a few who along with their calculations began to take measures against it beforehand. The focus of the upcoming feature film will be on three main characters, a biochemist, a public health worker and a federal government employee who work in the White House. Amy Pascal is the founder and CEO of Pascal Pictures which alongside Universal Pictures will most likely be joining Lord Miller for the development of the upcoming feature film. Rachel O’Connor‘s works include, ‘Spiderman- No Way Home’ which premiered in 2021 and more. The writers for the upcoming film include Rebecca Angelo and Lauren Schuker Blum who will plausibly compose its screenplay. Rebecca Angelo and Lauren Schuker Blum are primarily known as producers who has previously worked together for ‘Dumb Money’.
