Nightswim’s upcoming project is rumored to be a feature film titled as, ‘L’Angelo Infelice’ and will follow a teacher who is transferred to a remote town, only to find disturbing secrets beneath the seemingly ideal place. Rumored to be joining Nightswim for the development of ‘L’Angelo Infelice’ is Fandango, another production company based in Italy.
Paolo Strippoli will potentially be joining the crew for ‘L’Angelo Infelice’ as its director. Paolo Strippoli is an emerging director who is primarily known for his horror and thriller themed works such as, ‘A Classic Horror Story’ which premiered in 2021 as a horror mystery film, ‘Senza tenere premuto’ a thriller short film which premiered in 2019, ‘Flowing’ which starred Cristiana Dell’Anna, Francesco Gheghi, Leon Faun, Orso Maria Guerrini and more, ‘Who’s Who’ which premiered in 2015 and more.
With the production commencing soon, ‘L’Angelo Infelice’ will most likely be shot Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy with Ines Vasiljevic and Stefano Sardo possibly joining the crew as the film’s producers. Ines Vasiljevic is the founder of Nightswim and is a known producer. Her works include, ‘La ragazza ha volato’ which premiered in 2021, ‘Likemeback’ which premiered in 2018 as a thriller drama, ‘Una relazione’ which premiered in 2021 and more. Stefano Sardo is primarily known as an actor/ writer and he has worked alongside Ines Vasiljevic for works such as, ‘Una relazione’ and more.
Jacopo Del Giudice and Milo Tissone to Team, Up as the Writers for ‘L’Angelo Infelice’
Jacopo Del Giudice and Milo Tissone will most likely compose the screenplay for the upcoming feature film alongside Paolo Strippoli. Jacopo Del Giudice is known for ‘Racconto notturno’ which premiered in 2019 and ‘La cage’ another 2019 release. He has worked with Paolo Strippoli for ‘Flowing’. Milo Tissone is known for ‘ L’anno dell’uovo’ which premiered this year, ‘Nessun dorma’ which premiered in 2018 and more. He has worked alongside Paolo Strippoli for ‘A Classic Horror Story’.
The upcoming feature film will focus on a teacher with a painful past is transferred to Pont Remy, a town which is seen as the happiest municipality in Italy. However, soon after his arrival, he discovers that behind the visible happiness lies a disturbing secret. Every week, the inhabitants of the town take out their suffering on Matteo Corbin, an introverted fifteen-year-old. Believing him to be an angel the people claim that a simple hug from him can free him from all pain.
