To those who have been anxiously awaiting a new season of “See” can now rest assured as Apple TV+ officially renewed Jason Momoa’s lead series for a third installment back in June 2021. Along with the renewal announcement, the show’s producers also confirmed that filming commenced in May 2021, and by now we assume that filming has ended and is gearing up to make its return.
Directed by Steven Knight, See is an American sci-fi drama with many twists and turns and well there’s a lot of blood too which often have us at the edge of the seats. The first season received mixed reviews and the ratings were quite average. However, the second season did a much better job and became the most watched series on Apple TV. The series stars Jason Momoa, Sylvia Hoeks, Hera Hilmar, Christian Camargo, Archie Madekwe, Nesta Cooper, Yadira Guevara-Prip, Alfre Woodard, Eden Epstein, Olivia Cheng, Hoon Lee, Tom Mison, and Dave Bautista.
Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming third season:
See Season 3 Release Date: When Is It?
By now filming for the third season has already wrapped which indicates that new episodes will arrive on our screens sometime in 2022. The official release date is yet to be issued but don’t worry we’ll update this section as soon as we get any new information regarding the air date for the 3rd season of See.
The Cast of See Season 3: Who’s In It?
- Jason Momoa will play his character as Baba Voss
- Sylvia Hoeks would return as Sibeth Kane, Queen of Payan Kingdom
- Herra Hilmer will reprise her role as Maghra Kane
- Archie Madekwe will portray the role of Kofub
- Nesta Cooper will play Haniwa
- Joshua Henry may reprise his role as Jerlamarel
It’s also possible that new faces will be introduced in the next season.
See Season 3 Plot: What To Expect?
In the second season, viewers saw that Baba Voss and his family were finally reunited. Baba Voss kills his brother Edo Voss at the finale of the season. After this event, he had a chance to join the army of Pennsa but he refused and departed from his family.
Therefore, we expect that Baba Voss will have a limited screen time in the third season. The new season likely will centre on Sibeth, Maghra, Haniwa, and Kofun. Although plot details are under wraps it has been revealed that Queen Kane gives birth as an outcome of Kofun and Queen Kane’s lovemaking. With Kofun as the father of the baby, the next season will unfold what fate awaits for this child, and eventually, the story will be picked up from where the second season left off and connect all the puzzle pieces.
