Jonah Daniels is a 17 year old residing in Verona Cove, California who is grieving the sudden death of his father. With a mother lost in a deep bout of depression, Jonah and his five siblings struggle to keep up their home and the restaurant their dad left behind. But things begin to change when Vivi Alexander, the new girl in town enters into their lives. The plot for this upcoming feature film is an interesting one indeed and with a set crew and cast, ‘When we Collided’ (as it is named) is set to commence its filming soon. Joining the cast for this upcoming feature film are Laura Marano, Lucy Hale and Austin Stowell.
Laura Marano is a popular actress/ singer whose works include, ‘The Royal Treatment’ which premiered in 2022 and was directed by Rick Jacobson, ‘A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish’ which starred Cassandra Naud, Gregg Sulkin and more, ‘The War with Grandpa’ which premiered in 2020 and ‘The Perfect Date’ which was directed by Chris Nelson. Lucy Hale is an established actress who gained international stardom through her portrayal of Aria in ‘Pretty Little Liars’. Her other popular works include, ‘The Hating Game’, ‘A Nice Girl Like You’, ‘Fantasy Island’ and ‘Scream IV’. Austin Stowell is another popular star who starred opposite to Lucy Hale in ‘The Hating Game’. His other known works include, ‘Swallow’ which premiered in 2019 and ‘Keep Breathing’ which was created by Martin Gero and Brendan Gall, to name a few.
‘When we Collided’ and Emery Lord
‘When We Collided’ was originally a novel composed by Emery Lord in 2016. The book was well received upon its release with a rating of 3.8/5 on Goodreads. Ireland, is to serve as the primary filming location for the upcoming project. Vanessa Marano will be directing the film adaptation of ‘When We Collided’ while Christina Mengert will be composing the screenplay. Vanessa Marano is a popular actress whose works include, ‘Switched at Birth’ which ran for 5 seasons, ‘The Royal Treatment’ which starred Mena Massoud and Laura Marrano, ‘This Is the Year’ which was directed by David Henry and more. The upcoming feature film will possibly be Vannesa Marano’s directorial debut. Christina Mengert is a known artist whose works include, ‘The Last Keepers’ and ‘Peace, Love and Misunderstanding’ among others.
Brick Lane Entertainment will be taking up the development of ‘When we Collide’ alongside Hush Hush Entertainment with producers, Todd Slater, Brandon Evans, Ellen Marano and Claude Dal Farra joining the crew.
