It’s over 3 years since we last saw the Destroyal battle and Therianthropes and their action-packed battles in the anime, Killing Bites. An anime adaption of the manga of the same, KIlling Bites has earned a cult following because of its unique blend of sci-fi with action. It first made its appearance in 2018 and since then, there is no word whether the anime will have more episodes or not. Disappointingly, the series’ fate remains as dark as the finale episode of its inaugural run at this moment.
So, is there a possibility that there will be a season 2 of Killing bites or it has ended in just one season? We’ve got the answers in the blog below. Thus, keep reading to get hold of all the deets about Season 2 of Killing Bites:
Killing Bites 2 Possible Airing date
We await the renewal announcement of S2 currently. That said, there is no definite release date for the series. Moreover, the anime studio associated with the series, Liden Films is known for not producing sequels. Keeping this in mind, it is hard to make any predictions regarding the premiere date of KIlling BItes season 2.
Moreover, we have an ample supply of content material to deliver at least a 12-episode long season. Therefore, KIlling Bites should happen sooner than later. Finger crossed!
Killing Bites 2 Potential Plotline
Killing Bites was a short yet intense action anime that ended on a major cliffhanger, leaving fans hungry for more. Episode 12 titled Thanks for Everything saw The Destroyal end with some unexpected twists, and the political war among the zaibatsu over the theriomorphosis business gained momentum. Gladly, the story does not conclude with that. As the mangaka, Shinya Murata has been consistent in releasing new volumes year after year. Season 1 focused on the Destroyal Island Tournament arc from its original source material. That means that the first installment has not fully consumed the manga, providing us hope for some additional episodes. So far, the manga consists of 18 volumes, which implies that we have tentatively 144 chapters which are just enough to support a season two. The good part is that the creators need 30-40 chapters to create a sophomore season.
Thus, we see that the next batch of episodes is on the way.
If you cannot wait that long, you can read the manga that contains the future plotlines.
Killing Bites Season 2 Anticipated Cast
Hitomi Uzaki is the lead character of Killing Bites. She has the strongest killer instinct that makes her stand out from her fellow Hybrids.
Yuya Nomoto is an ordinary university student who becomes involved in the death marches and the Destroyal battle. Yuya has feelings for Hitomi despite that the latter abided by the order of Reiichi to assassinate Yuya because he knew too much about Hitomi. However, Yuya survives and prepares to seek vengeance against his betrayers including Hitomi, secretly wishing that Hitomi survives somehow.
Killing Bites will not work without its lead characters, Hitomi and Nomoto. Therefore, it is safe to assume that the bodyguard-financial banker pair will be back in future episodes. Aside from them, Reiichi Shido, Hitomi’s legal guardian, seems like a possible return.
Yasuto Nishikata spearheads the anime as a director.
