A new erotic thriller is reportedly under production and is set to star one of the English film industry’s acclaimed superstars, Nicole Kidman. ‘Babygirl’ will narrate the story of a working woman in her 40s, who has an affair with a 21-year-old intern. Nicole Kidman, who made her film debut through ‘Bush Christmas’, a remake of the 1947 movie, is an adored actress who has contributed several smashers to Hollywood. Some amongst her most notable performances include, Satine in ‘Moulin Rouge’, Grace in ‘The Others and Becca in ‘Rabbit Hole’. In the upcoming film, Nicole Kidman will play the role of a married and successful woman who engages in an extramarital affair with her intern.
Halina Reijn, a Dutch renowned actress/ director whose popular works include, ‘Bodies Bodies Bodies’ and ‘Instinct’, is rumored to be directing this upcoming feature film. The films that Halina Reijin has acted in, include, ‘Black Book’, ‘The Student’, ‘Isabelle’ and ‘Goltzius and the Pelican Company’. Halina Reijin will be joined by Erika Hampson in the crew for ‘Babygirl’. Erika Hampson is an established producer whose films include, ‘Two Night Stand’ which starred Miles Teller and Lio Tipton, ‘The Discovery’ and ‘The Layover’.
Harris Dickinson and Jude Law to Star Alongside Nicole Kidman
The cast list for ‘Babygirl’ does not end with Nicole Kidman alone as popular stars Jude Law and Harris Dickinson will most likely join the team in lead roles. Jude Law’s name is impossible to not know if you are a fan of fantasy themed entertainers as the actor is a pro in the genre. His popular films include, ‘Fantastic Beasts’ film series in which the actor played the role of Dumbledore (a prominent character from JK Rowling’s Harry Potter Universe), ‘The Holiday’, ‘Enemy at the Gates’ and ‘King Arthur: Legend of the Sword’. Harris Dickinson is another talented actor who is the recipient of several nominations including ‘BAFTA Awards’ and is a winner of the ‘London Film Critics Circle Awards’. Some of Harris Dickinson’s recognized performances are ‘Beach Rats’, Frankie in the series Conrad Oxford in ‘The Kingsman 3’ and Liam Stewart in ‘The Darkest Minds’. In ‘Babygirl’, Jude Lawwill most likely don the role of Kidman’s husband while Harris Dickinson will potentially play the role of the intern.
The filming for the upcoming erotic thriller is supposedly beginning this fall with the location being New York. With the trio possibly uniting for ‘Babygirl’, the movie is expected to be distinct from the previously released popular erotic thrillers such as ‘Fatal Attraction’ and ‘Eyes Wide Shit’. How?
