Daniel, the director of the upcoming Star Wars movie “Skeleton Crew,” will be directing an episode of the series as well. The series is set to be released on Disney+ in 2023 and is being created and executive produced by Jon Watts and Chris Ford.
The series will center around a group of children lost in space. Skeleton Crew tells the story of four kids who find themselves lost in in the vastness of the galaxy trying to find their way home. The show is set in the New Republic era, after the events of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, around the same timeline as other Disney+ shows like The Mandalorian.

“Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” does not yet have an official release date but it is set to come out sometime in 2023. Filming reportedly began in September 2022 and wrapped by the end of January 2023
