John Roberts’ upcoming project is said to be a feature film titled ‘Roo’ with James McArdle and more potentially joining its cast. There is a lot of speculation surrounding ‘Roo’ and its plot seeing as how the film is John Roberts’ first project following the premiere of his supposed last film, ‘Day of the Flowers’ in 2012. James McArdle to Don the Role of ‘Tommy McGinty’ in ‘Roo’
Seemingly, James McArdle is in talks for a major role in ‘Roo’ with the name of his potential character being ‘Tommy McGinty’. Having been an active performer in the film and television industry for nearly a decade, James McArdle is known for his roles as ‘James’ in ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ a history based drama film, ‘Deacon Mark Bunton’ in ‘Mare of Easttown’ which premiered in 2021, ‘Roderick Murchison’ in ‘Ammonite’ a 2020 drama film and ‘Gal Dove’ in ‘Sexy Beach’ a recent release, to name a few. Other potential cast additions to the upcoming feature film are actors Kara Tointon, Ewen Bremner, Roman Griffin Davis and Mark Benton. Kara Tointon is another known actress whose recent on-screen appearances include ‘Elsie Leach’ in ‘Archie’ a miniseries, ‘Elizabeth Barnes’ in ‘Father Brown’ a crime drama and ‘Jamie’ in ‘Gallery’. Ewen Bremner is another known actor who is also a producer. Roman Griffin Davis is popular for his role as ‘Jojo’ in ‘Jojo Rabbit’ and ‘Art’ in ‘Silent Night’ among others.
