All About Happy Feet?

Happy Feet is a 3D animated musical comedy movie helmed, produced and co-penned by George Miller. It stars a list of famous Hollywood actors including the likes of Robin Williams, Elijah Wood, Hugh Jackman, Brittany Murphy, Nicole Kidman, E.G. Daily, and Hugo Weaving.

It also won a BAFTA Award for Best Animated Film, an Academy Award winner for Best Animated Feature Film. 

Happy Feet was a box office hit. It collected a whopping $384 million approximately against a production budget of $100 million. “If you put a gun to my head and said, ‘You have to come up with a story for Happy Feet Three,’ I’d say shoot me. I would have no idea. I really would have no idea. The stories creep up on you. You just have to allow the stories to come, and then they get in like little ear worms in your head and they won’t go away. If that happens and we’ve got the energy, we’ll do it is a fantastic movie a third one. If it doesn’t happen, it doesn’t happen. That’s the only way you can do it. It has to be authentic. I really wanted to make this film better than the first one. Otherwise, at my age, what’s the point? You really want to make it better. If something comes up that’s really exciting and I can convey that enthusiasm to other people, then there would be a third one.” The future remains hopeful for now.

Happy Feet 3 Release Date: When is it?

As of now, there’s no word on it yet about a third Happy Feet movie; neither did the showrunner provide a release date. Furthermore, the third installment has not been renewed and expecting a release date is a far cry. 

A lot of people anticipated that the film would be launched between the year 2016 to 2019 but unfortunately, that never happened. Fast forward, it’s already at the end of 2021 and we still got nothing. Could we expect an announcement soon? We shall wait and see as 2022 arrives.

The possible threequel Happy Feet 3 follows Happy Feet and Happy Feet Two between 2006 and 2011. There have been plot rumors regarding the film, but it has not yet been announced. Happy Feet 3 might follow Mumble and Gloria’s son Erik, a teenager trying to find his place in the world. Erik doesn’t fit in because he feels different from his parents and other penguins. Being the son of Antarctica’s two most famous penguins adds strain.

 

Erik meets a bizarre flying penguin named Sven. He learns to fly from Sven and realizes his innate talent. However, he is shunned by the colony after learning to fly and then tours the world after leaving the colony. He learns about penguin cultures and encounters several more penguins. Erik discovers himself and what it means to be different.

 

Later, he decides to return to the colony and help his family and friends. The Antarctic penguins face a new threat, and Erik’s flying talent may be their last hope. A new environmental hazard to Antarctic penguins is another Happy Feet 3 plot idea. This threat could be climate change, pollution, or a new predator. Penguins must cooperate to rescue their home from this menace.

 

Mumble and Gloria might lead the penguins against the new menace. Erik may help save the penguins by flying to obtain information and resources. The actors and producers of Happy Feet 3 have not announced a third season; however, the third part has been rumored. According to a 2021 interview, filmmaker George Miller would make a third Happy Feet picture if the first two were successful and the cast and crew were available.

 

The first two Happy Feet films grossed over $600 million worldwide and were critically acclaimed. Elijah Wood, Nicole Kidman, Robin Williams, and Brad Pitt starred in the flicks. However, some obstacles could hinder a third Happy Feet film. One issue is that the second picture was less successful critically and commercially than the first. On June 20 2011, a juvenile Emperor penguin was found alive, washed up on Peka Peka Beach, a stretch of coast not far from New Zealand’s capital city, Wellington.
