“We intend to follow this group of children and adults for a very long time…” producer Conor Welch said on the Goosebumps Season 2 Renewal
Sadly, you will need to hold your breath—Disney and Hulu have not yet made an announcement on the renewal or cancellation of Goosebumps. Furthermore, it’s difficult to tell what each streamer is up to. While some of its shows, like Willow and The Mysterious Benedict Society, were canceled, others, like The Mandalorian, just kept running.
October 11, 2023, brought the latest updates regarding the second season of the Disney+ Goosebumps revival. Conor Welch, the producer of the Goosebumps series onDisney+, talked about what might happen in Goosebumps season two and hinted at future projects Disney might undertake with R.L. Stine’s vast body of literature.
“We intend to follow this group of children and adults for a very long time, spanning several seasons and countless episodes. Because there is still much to learn and even though we have access to all of the canonical works.” Welch clarified in an interview with Comicbook.com.

Goosebumps Season 2 Plot
The Goosebumps season 2 plot is unknown and won’t be clear until the first season’s conclusion. However, in a 2023 interview with MovieWeb, the producers of the Goosebumps revival, Pavun Shetty and Conor Welch, disclosed which R.L. Stine Goosebumps novels they intend to adapt for a second season. A plot containing a lot more Slappy the Dummy is one thing fans can anticipate when Goosebumps season 2 premieres on Hulu and Disney+, according to Shetty.
“We do draw a little bit from Night of the Living Dummy in season one; it’s not a stand-alone story, but Slappy plays a significant role in the series, so it was exciting to draw from those books, though not as much as the first and second [Night of the Living Dummy II] did.” “I honestly think there’s a lot more to pull from Night of the Living Dummy moving forward,” Shetty explained.
