Judd Apatow, the popular director and film producer is now expected to be back with the documentary on the cast of the 1972 Toronto production of the musical Godspell. He would be executive producing the documentary this time. Meanwhile, serving as the director, producer and co-writer of the same would be Nick Davis.
Davis is known for his film, Once Upon A Time in Queens and many other works. Although, a lot of information is yet to come out about the upcoming documentary. We know it suppose to release in the year 2025. Though an exact release date hasn’t been announced for the documentary yet.
As far as the plot of the documentary is concerned, then the surviving cast members of the Godspell’s 1972 Toronto production’s interview would be included in the Davis’ upcoming work. In fact, in a statement about it, Davis had said “The audio tapes will help bring this extraordinary moments to life.”
The documentary will show some personal archives, audio tapes, and footages of the members of the Godspell cast that’s never seen before. It will reveal the unknown aspect of their lives in the documentary. Further it will be throwing lights on the time of the members during the Toronto production as well. However, you can only enjoy that when you’ll have it on your screens to watch.
