War of The Worlds is a science fiction series produced by Fox Networks Groups and Urban Myth Films and supported by Studio Canal. It is a free adaptation of the 1988 novel The War of the Worlds by the famous English author H.G. The series was created and written by the famous British television writer Howard Overman. Gilles Coulier and Richard Clark directed this series.
With a mix of suspense, entertainment, and mystery, the series War of The Worlds received an imdb rating of 6.3 out of 10. It revolves around various science fiction events – sudden Martian invasion of Earth, and the evolution of species, aliens, and viruses.
The main roles are played by the famous English actress Daisy Edgar – Jones and actor Gabriel Byrne. It has an amazing cast full of insightful actors. So far there are two seasons of the series. What to expect from the season 4 plot of War of The Worlds?
The series is set in contemporary Britain and France. It revolves around the narrative of the earth that’s being invaded by extraterrestrial life or extraterrestrials. Further, it comprises how aliens wiped half of the earth’s population. After which a struggle for survival began between what few humans remain on earth and the aliens.
The series also chronicles a significant part of the story based on time travel, and we can expect more of that in Season 4.
What happened in Season 3? (Spoilers ahead)
Two years have passed since the events of Season 2 of War of the Worlds began. The alien invasion has wiped out the human species, and the survivors are dispersed around the planet in colonies. Attempting to reconstruct their lives in London are Bill Ward (Gabriel Byrne), his daughters Emily (Léa Drucker), and Chloe (Daisy Edgar-Jones). In his capacity as a scientist, Bill is looking for a strategy to stop the aliens. While Chloe struggles to accept her new skills, Emily is having a hard time adjusting to the death of her husband.
Elizabeth McGovern’s Catherine Durand, who is in charge of a group of survivors fighting back against the aliens in Paris, is doing so. In order for the other human colonies to band together and fight the aliens jointly, Catherine is determined to find a way to communicate with them. Now that they are more powerful than ever, the aliens are committed to eradicating humanity once and for all. The aliens must be stopped if the humans are to avoid extinction.
