The famous star Fred Dust will be now appearing with the indie rocker Phoebe Bridgers in the upcoming horror movie!
Durst and Bridgers have always been a like light face, recently they spotted tougher in I Saw The TV Glow, an upcoming A24 horror movie (the same company that brought us Midsommar, The Lighthouse, and Hereditary).
Not only Phoebe Bridgers, Snail Mail’s Lindsey Jordan are also listed among the verified cast members for the upcoming announced A24 horror movie I Saw the TV Glow! As per the news coming out from A24, Fred Durst will also be seen in the movie. Now, all eyes are held on famous World’s Fair director Jane Schoenbrun. We just have to wait to see his eternally cinematography skills.
In an recent interview, Durst with full enthusiasm for film shares some of his moment from the set and the experience of coping up from musician to director: “Well, I always wanted to be a film director, and along the way I had a wonderful time with the success of music, and I think it was a natural stepping stone for me to be behind the camera”.
Bridgers’ involvement comes by way of her role in the band Sloppy Jane, which will be featured in the film along with the band King Woman. Leaving these two talented stars there are tons of characters we may witness in the upcoming movie. Some of them areAmber Benson, Ian Foreman, Conner O’Malley, Michael Maronna, Emma Portner, and Danny Tamberelli.
We may also see Justice Smith (Detective Pikachu), Kris Esfandiari (of King Woman), and Bridgette Lundy-Paine (of Snail Mail) as the lead star cast in the series. Per the film’s IMDb page, the movie “Follows two teenageers who bond over their shared love of a scary television show, but the show gets mysteriously cancelled.”
Jane Schoenbrun, the writer and director of the series I Saw The TV Glow also the Schoenbrun’s most recent film is that of We’re All Going to the World’s Fair. In that movie, a Skullshitter shirt made an appearance; we may certainly expect some kind of cameo from Limp Bizkit in I Saw The TV Glow. The last time Fred Durst really got involved in film was The Fanatic, a film he directed (and wrote the story for).
According to a press release announcing details of the movie, I Saw the TV Glow follows teenagers Justice Smith and Bridgette Lundy-Paine as they become fascinated by a creepy TV series and begin to confuse fiction and reality.
There may not be some extra changes in the plotline of the movie, it may be similar to the We’re All Going to the World’s Fair. In this series we may also expect to seen some teenage girl lose track of what’s real as she haunts over a viral online game. That movie came with a score from Alex G.
Justice Smith was last seen in Jurassic World Dominion while Lundy-Paine played the gender-flipped Bill role in 2020’s Bill & Ted Face the Music reboot. I Saw the TV Glow is produced by A24 and Emma Stone’s Fruit Tree.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film completed its filming in this month. Currently, it is one its post-production stage. Unfortunately, as of now, no trailer or release date as of yet. But be sure to check back for further updates!
