About the game
‘Dying Light’ is one such horror game that is more than mere thrilling and adventurous. Developed and designed by Techland and Tymon Smektala respectively, the 2015 launched game has created a buzz since day 1. It is published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and directed by Pawel Marchewka and Adrian Ciszewski. Crafted by Pawel Selinger and programmed by Michal Nowak, the game is set in a completely open world.
The land or the place in the game is called ‘Harran’ and the plot is primarily about blackmail. A confidential and sensitive file that is stolen by Kadir is blackmailing everyone in the name of that file. Several characters join in further which takes the plot ahead with great twists and turns.
Is Dying Light 3 Happening?
Yes, Dying Light 3 is very much happening!
In chat with VGC, Tymon Smektala (Who served as the lead game designer of “Dying Light 2: Stay Human”) told that providing the performer more skills and abilities was something he’d wish to change from the recently launched second instalment.
“One thing is that if we’re making Dying Light 3, then I would like the main character to start with bigger and better starting abilities and skills,” Smektała revealed to VGC in a recent interview.
“We have used basically the same approach in [Dying Light 2] that we used in the first game, where the player was starting quite weak and then developing further,” added Smektała .
“We did something very different in the second one and actually this is something I would like to have corrected when I look at Dying Light 2 from the perspective of three months after the release.”
“So I think in the third game, if it happens, that the character will start with more powers, more skills, more abilities as his basic skill set.”
Dying Light 3 Release Date
The first edition of the game was released on January 2015. Additionally, another edition was launched in 2018, namely ‘Dying Light: Bad Blood’ and then the talk of ‘Dying Light 2’ started surrounding the internet. After seven years of the first edition release, the second edition of Dying Light was launched on February 2022.
As for the release days of Dying Light 3, nothing is confirmed as it is still in the development stages.
To be more specific, it’ll probably take a few years for fans to get their hands on the third edition. Along with that, you might also get to see other versions of the game. About ‘Dying Light 3’, nothing is confirmed as of now. If we add more to that thought, then the release date of the third part might be somewhere around 3 to 4 years from 2022. Looking at the earlier release dates, it can be assumed. Overall, the wait is the only thing we can do.
