‘Doughtery’, an upcoming production under Peak Films, is a thriller that will focus on the mysterious corridors of the Doughtery house. Wanting to solve a murder that took place in the house, a determined couple, Riley and Kent, visit the place for Riley’s budding podcast. However, as they step inside, the house begins to haunt them through the stories it carries and the unsettling secrets that the couple begin to unravel. As they experience a strain in their bond, Riley and Kent are quick to trace it back to the house. Their encounters with the locals and unexplained phenomena further lead them on a tense and twisting journey. The rest of the film will focus on how the couple tries to get past the blurry lines between perception and reality.
Peak Films is an emerging production company that will take on the development of this upcoming feature film with Daniel Sollinger and Rebekah Kennedy joining the crew. Additionally, Jared Becker is also supposedly a part of the production team while Sabrina Lassegue will most likely direct the feature film. The film will potentially commence its production by next year which will result in its release being possibly delayed.

Daniel Sollinger is a known producer who has worked in films, commercials and music videos. His works include, ‘Girls Against Boys’ which was released in 2012, ‘Six Ways to Sunday’ which was directed by Adam Bernstein, ‘Day Zero’ which starred Elijah Wood, Chris Klein and more, ‘Ktown Cowboys’ a comedy drama and ‘Rhyme & Reason’ a documentary on American rappers. Rebekah Kennedy is an actress and a producer whose works include ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’, ‘House Hunting’ and more. Jared Becker will be composing the screenplay for the feature film which will be shot in Los Angeles and New Hampshire. Jared Becker is also an actor and his works include, ‘Reveille’ and more.
Sabrina Lassegue, who will be directing the upcoming feature film is a known filmmaker. She is also an actress/ producer and the creator/ head of Yellow Rain Productions. Some of her works are, ‘Get the Girl’ which premiered in 2023, ‘Along Came Sundae’ which was a short film, ‘Blight’ and more.
