Judging from the plot of this upcoming feature film, ‘Razorblade Tears’ seemingly inclines to the action thriller sub genre. Plausibly a production under Jerry Bruckheimer Films, this new feature film is currently under development. Some of the works of Jerry Bruckheimer Films that have been released in the past include, ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ the second film in the franchise, ‘Pearl Harbor’ which is set in the 1940s, ‘Remember the Titans’ which premiered in 2000 and more.
Our sources suggest that Jerry Bruckheimer Films will most likely be joined by Dirty Robber and Paramount Pictures for the development of the upcoming feature film. Dirty Robber is an Award- winning studio. Paramount Pictures is an established production company with works that date back to a century. Travon Free & Martin Roe will perhaps join the crew for ‘Razorblade Tears’ as its directors alongside composing the film’s screenplay. Travon Free and Martin Rose are known directors whose works include, ‘Two Distant Strangers’ a known short film and more. They are also known for their individually directed entertainers. Sherman Payne is also rumored to join the cast for the upcoming feature film as its writer. Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman and Melissa Reid will supposedly be the film’s producers while Christian Kaplan is another addition to the crew.
Plot of ‘Razorblade Tears’
The upcoming feature film will focus on Ike Randolph who has been out of jail for fifteen years, and has been a law abider since. But his race makes him a prone target for harassments from cops, so when cops do show up at the door, the last thing he expects to hear is that his son Isiah has been murdered, along with Isiah’s white husband, Derek. Ike is devastated by this loss as he had a troubled relationship with his son. Things with Derek’s father Buddy Lee was also complicated as his father was ashamed of Derek for being gay as Derek was ashamed of the fact that his father was a criminal. Despite not being involved with the underworld, Buddy Lee still has contacts in the place, and he wants to know who killed his boy. So, the two fathers, two ex-cons with little else in common other than a criminal past and a love for their dead sons, band together, determined to take revenge for their sons’ death. In hopes that they do better for their sons in death than they did in life, Ike and Buddy Lee will confront their own prejudices about their sons and each other, as they progress.
