Chrisean Rock is an emerging rapper who has been in the music industry for the past few years. Some of her early songs include ‘Lonely’ which premiered in 2020 and featured Blueface and more. She has also appeared in certain music videos some of which are her own songs such as ‘Lil Mabu x ChriseanRock: Mr. Take Ya Bitch’ and ‘BlueFace Feat. ChriseanRock: Dear Rock’. She has also made an appearance in one of the episodes of ‘The Jason Lee Show’ which premiered in 2023 and is hosted by Jason Lee.
Recently, the filming of a supposed dating show featuring the rapper was interrupted, turning deadly as an armed man attacked another person who was present on set. While the bystanders including Chrisean Rock had to helplessly watch the terrifying events unfold, the masked and armed man allegedly beat the victim and held him at gunpoint. Though the incident did eventually end with no casualties, the reason for such an attack has not been identified. Despite the situation not ending fatally, incidents such as this showcases how gun violence and its constant threat that the general public are facing due to loopholes in laws are increasing. Thankfully, none of the cast and crew were harmed but the situation could have ended differently. This issue such as many others that resemble it reveal the need for proper protection that needs to be provided to both the cast and crew members on sets.
An article which was posted on ABC News showcased how almost 40,000 people were killed due to gun violence in the US the past year with some of the victims being police officers. The victims also had a high number of teenagers and children which goes on to show how important it is to control the possession of arms.
