Darren Goldstein has been cast in the upcoming thriller comedy ‘‘Sharper’’ opposite Julianne Moore and Sebastian Stan.
Benjamin Caron is directing the film while the script is being penned by Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka.
Stan has also officially joined the cast of “Sharper.” The film follows a con artist starring Moore that is being set up at A24 and Apple. Both Moore and Stan will portray con artists which will take place in the world of Manhattan surrounded by billionaires. Storyline details are not being revealed.
“Sharper” is heavily inspired by a spec screenplay by Brian Gatewood with Alessandro Tanaka, which was also previously anchored on the Black List.
Serving as producers are Bart Freundlich, Bart Freundlich, Julianne Moore, Jessica Switch, Alessandro Tanaka, and Brian Gatewood with Erik Feig as co-producer. The film is executive produced by Julia Hammer and Amy Herman.
Production for the upcoming film is currently underway and hence, the release date is not provided at the moment but it is scheduled to be released in 2023.
Goldstein was born in Long Island, New York, USA. The actor is perhaps best known for acting in “The Affair” (2014) and “Limitless” (2011). He has been wedded to Katie Finneran since August 2010. Goldstein has also worked in many films and TV shows including “Staring at the Sun” (2016), 2011 “Les Winners” (2011), and “Five Days Gone” (2010), For TV shows his credits include “Untitled Barry Levinson Project,” “The Real Stephen Blatt,” “The Gifted,” The Affair,” “Person of Interest,” “Inside Amy Schumer,” “American Odyssey,” “Nurse Jackie,” “Guilty,” “Blue Bloods,” “Wes et Travis,” “Playdate,” “Rubicon,” “Damages,” “As the World Turns,” and “New York – Section criminally.”
