Hyperobject Industries and Loose Cobra Productions are collaborating for a new project, featuring Hollywood’s popular actors. Titled, ‘Average Height, Average Build’ the upcoming feature film will narrate a tale centered in dark humor as it follows Stephen Lewis Deesner, a serial killer who seeks the peculiar assistance of lobbyist Michele Strunk to alter existing laws in his favor in order to make it easier for him to commit murder without being caught. On the other hand, Detective Coleman ‘Cole’ Lannum, a retired cop is determined to find out the identity of the killer and solve the cases. This causes the killer to go to extreme lengths in evading him including transforming himself into a populist figure resembling ‘Mr. Smith Goes to Washington,’ (a film released in 1939)
to conceal his true intentions.
Hyperobject Industries is a relatively new production company that was founded by Adam McKay. Loose Cobra Productions is another emerging production company based in America. As the film is currently in its development stage, only limited information has been made available on the cast and crew for the film. As per our souces, Adam McKay will be directing this upcoming feature film that will supposedly be streamed on Netflix. Adam McKay is a popular director/ producer whose filmography include, ‘Don’t Look Up’ which featured Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett and more in the cast, ‘The Big Short’ which premiered in 2016 and ‘Daddy’s Home’ film series to name a few. Additionally, Adam McKay will be composing the screenplay for the film.
A Hint at the Cast for ‘Average Height, Average Build’
The cast for ‘Average Height, Average Build’ will most likely have Robert Pattinson in the role of Stephen Lewis Deesner, Amy Adams as Michele Strunk, Robert Downey Jr. joining as Detective Coleman ‘Cole’ Lannum and Meryl Streep for the role of Annabel Jexson. Moreover, Forest Whitaker and Danielle Deadwyler will be joining the team in primary roles. Meryl Streep has previously worked with Adam McKay for ‘Don’t Look Up’ and is a renowned actress. The supposed members of the cast are all established actors and actresses who are recipients of numerous accolades. Some of Robert Pattinson’s films include, ‘Twilight’ film series, ‘The Batman’ and ‘Tenet’. Amy Adams is known for her roles in, ‘Enchanted’ film series, ‘American Hustle’, ‘Man of Steel’ and more. Robert Downey Jr. is popular for a number of his portrayals including that of ‘Iron Man’ in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Forest Whitaker’s films include, ‘The Last King of Scotland’, ‘Taken 3’ and more. Danielle Deadwyler was previously seen in ‘The Harder They Fall’ and ‘Jane and Emma’ besides her other popular works.
The filming of ‘Average Height, Average Build’ was set to commence in September, but the continued writers strike may alter the dates for production.
