Born on the 4th of January 1998, Coco Jones is an American recording artist and actress. Her full name is Courtney Jones. Hailing from Lebanon, Tennessee, she started giving auditions in Nashville at a tender age to make a career in entertainment. The 25-year-old rose to fame as she landed a role in the popular 2012 Disney Channel movie “Let It Shine” and was also featured on Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing from 2010-11. Although the Disney Channel movie Let It Shine was a success and gave the 25-year-old her big break as a teen actress, the career of the star didn’t take off as she’d intended.
During a live video stream on YouTube that went popular among her fans in September 2020, Jones candidly discussed the film’s initially planned sequel’s demise and complained that, despite her considerable skill, she didn’t have the same support as other Disney Channel stars.
The singer noticed a difference in prospects though after she made a 2021 appearance on Terrell Grice’s YouTube online series The Terrell Show. Soon after, Jones was cast in the lead role of Hilary Banks in Bel-Air, the hit 1990s TV spinoff of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
