Black Diamond Films is supposedly taking up a new production, a feature film titled as ‘The Girl in the River’ which is centered on a criminologist and a psychologist who travel to a remote location in the Italian Alps to investigate the murder of a little girl and the disappearance of her twin sister. Black Diamond Films is a known production company whose works include, ‘The Ritual Killer’ starring Cole Hauser and Morgan Freeman, ‘Rollin’ Through the Decades’ a documentary which premiered in 2005 and more. For the upcoming film, Black Diamond Films will most likely be joined by companies Buffalo 8 Productions and Bondit Media Capital.
Buffalo 8 Productions was founded in 2010 and some their works are, ‘Givers of Death’ which premiered in 2022, ‘Loss of Essence’ a thriller comedy, ‘Tales of Babylon’ which was directed by Pelayo De Lario, ‘The Last Word’ a comedy and more. Bondit Media Capital was founded in 2013 and their works include, ‘Detective Knight’ film series which they co- produced alongside Buffalo 8 Productions, ‘Cosmic Sin’ which premiered in 2021, ‘Hard Kill’ an action thriller and more. Presently, the upcoming feature film is under development and has commenced its filming in this Fall. Additionally, Buffalo 8 is partnered with Bondit Media Capital in matters relating to production, financing, and sales opportunities.
Meet the Crew for ‘The Girl in the River’
Joe Lemmon, Matt Westmore, Grady Craig and Matthew Helderman will possibly be producing ‘The Girl in the River’. Joe Lemmon and Matt Westmore are emerging producers. Grady Craig is the Vice President of Business Development and Operations at Bondit Media Capital. Matthew Helderman is the CEO and co-founder of BondIt Media Capital and Buffalo 8 Productions and is a known producer.
‘The Girl in the River’ is rumored to be directed by Brando Benetton. Brando Benetton is an emerging director whose works include, ‘Nightfire’ an action thriller which premiered in 2015, ‘Overdrive: Live Set!’ a short film which premiered in 2016, ‘Tumbili’ another shortfilm which was both written and directed by Brando Benetton. Other additions to the crew for ‘The Girl in the River’ may include, Denise Loren, Kipp Tribble, Jude S. Walko and Donald Paul Pemrick.
With the production having commenced in 2023, the predicted release of ‘The Girl in the River’ is by the end of 2024.
