Zumbo’s Just Dessert Season 1 Recap
Zumbo’s Just Desserts debuted on August 22, 2016, on the Seven Network in Australia. It had a total of 12 episodes. The grand prize for the first season was $100,000. The winner took home the title of “Zumbo’s Just Desserts Winner”. Plus, they had the option to have one of their inventions sold in Zumbo’s stores.
Adriano Zumbo and Rachel Khoo present the show, with Gigi Falanga serving as an assistant. Kate Ferguson, 37, was named the champion. Each chapter is broken down into two parts. The “Zumbo Test” and the “Sweet Sensations assignment.” The first task lasts about three hours on average.
Every participant has to prepare a dessert adhering to the subject and rules that are set forth by the judges. The judges, Rachel and Zumbo taste each of the desserts and chooses a winner for the Dessert of The Day. Then comes the elimination phase, and finally there’s a winner.

As of yet, there has been no information concerning a third season of Zumbo’s Just Desserts. The show has neither been canceled or renewed yet. However, given the low ratings it received in both the previous two seasons of the show, it is uncertain if the show would be back for another season run. Nevertheless, we shall wait for further updates.
