A video from two years ago has been re-circulating recently of a woman entering the Air Force Base in Idaho without permission. The video is seemingly from 2021 when Tatiyana Gonzalez attempted to enter the Mountain Home Air Force Base with an invalid ID card inorder to supposedly get back her items from her former husband who works at the base. Reports suggested that the woman had been pregnant and had arrived in a Chevrolet with an expired driver’s license and registration. Things took a turn when the woman allegedly got into an argument with flight sergeant Ryan Green over the improper documentation and attempted to flee which led to the sergeant busting her car’s glass after she did not comply with his order to get out of the vehicle.

Tatiyana Gonzalez was consequently arrested and released thereafter. The incident came to public knowledge when Tatiyana Gonzalez reportedly posted a video on it. The video was met with a massive viewership with people divided in their opinions on the matter. On one hand, The Air Force squadron’s report which has been mentioned in an article by the ‘Air Force Times’ suggests that the officers/ sergeants acted properly according to the situation and many were in support of how the matter was handled. On the other, there seemingly were discussions on the use of force given that the woman had been pregnant and was accompanied by children present at the back seat of the car she drove.
It is surprising how the video resurfaced after two years since the incident and the discussions do not seem to end. The divided opinions on the matter showcases how legal proceedings on such matters can often be complicated and at the same time also points out how violation of Federal Laws does have its consequences for the person held responsible.
