Neil Patrick Harris’s new comedy series Uncoupled has been on Netflix for over a month. It is a short 8-episode series. Here are all the updates about the potential second season of the series Uncoupled.
Will there be a season 2 of Uncoupled?
We are certainly hoping so! However, as of yet, Netflix hasn’t officially greenlit the series. The series is billed slightly differently to other Netflix original series.
While most are marked by seasons or as a “limited series” (meaning one and done), Uncoupled is noted on the site as “eight episodes” which seems to suggest they are keeping the future open-ended.
Typically Netflix waits 28 days before making a decision, weighing up the amount of viewership it accrued with the budget it costs to make.
With this, Uncoupled did okay. However, lasting on average 14 days in the Top 10 of Netflix’s most watched before dropping (according to stats aggregate FlixPatrol).
Its best performance came from Iceland, lasting for 24 days. US and UK were 14 and 13 days respectively, with other major territories following suit. If the makers make any official revelations, we will update this space. Stay tuned!
