One of the top shows on Apple TV+ has received an early renewal. The journalistic drama “The Morning Show,” starring Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, has already been renewed for Season 4 on the streaming service.
The third season of the show was scheduled to premiere this fall. Witherspoon and Aniston serve as executive producers alongside Mimi Leder, who also directs and produces, and Charlotte Stoudt, the season’s showrunner and executive producer. Producing companies for “The Morning Show” include Echo Films, Hello Sunshine, and Media Res.
In an Instagram post published after the show’s renewal was confirmed, Aniston revealed that Season 3 had finished production on February 9. She also predicted that there was “so much more to come.”
Jon Hamm, Nicole Beharie, and previous cast members Julianna Margulies, Tig Notaro, Stephen Fry, and Natalie Morales will all make their season 3 debuts.

The Morning Show is an American drama television program that Jay Carson created. The book Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV by Brian Stelter served as the basis for this television show. The show’s executive producers are Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Ehrin, Michael Ellenberg, Mimi Leder, Kristin Hahn, and Lauren Levy Neustadter.
The program’s initial season debuted on Apple TV+ on November 1, 2019. The second season after that made its debut on September 17, 2021. Likewise, the show received a third-season renewal in January 2022. The program, which will shortly return on Apple TV+, has also been updated by the program’s creators for season 3!
The Morning Show Season 4 Release Date
According to Variety, The Morning Show’s first season debuted on Apple TV+ in November 2019, and its second season, set and shot during the COVID-19 epidemic, debuted nearly two years later, in September 2021.
The third season of The Morning Show will likely air in the fall of 2023 since filming for it recently finished on February 9, 2023. Apple gave the show a fourth season on May 1, 2023. The Morning Show Season Four Plot and Cast
The second season of the series, set in March 2020, ended with Alex’s career in jeopardy when Maggie’s tell-all book revealed her affair with former co-host Mitch. As she battled COVID, Chip, a producer friend of hers, helped Alex go on the air from her house to discuss the tale after she had been ‘canceled’ after the book’s publication.
The Hollywood Reporter quoted Mimi Leder, who also helmed the season two finale, saying that Alex “takes on a colossal journey where she questions: Is she still relevant? She was terrified that Maggie’s book would ruin her life. She embarks on a path of self-discovery after beginning the season as someone who was quite scared.
