Created by Matt Groening, Disenchantment is an American animated fantasy sitcom that airs on Netflix. The series centers on Bean, a disobedient and drunken princess, along with her gullible elf companion Elfo and her destructive “personal demon” Luci.
With five seasons already on the air, the sixth season is much anticipated – here’s everything you need to know about Disenchantment season 6!
Will Disenchantment come back with season 6?
Nope, Disenchantment season 5 will be the last of the series, and there won’t be a sixth season, as per the makers.
With its impending fifth batch of episodes, the animated Netflix comedy “Disenchantment” will come to an end. On September 1st, the series’ last 10 episodes will air. A teaser for the final episodes, which was also made available via Netflix, is seen below.
According to Deadline, Netflix initially ordered 20 episodes of “Disenchantment” back in 2017. The first season was released in two batches of ten episodes each, while the second season was also split into two 10-episode batches. The newest episodes were made available in February 2022.
It all ends here, according to the official synopsis for the series’ final episodes. In the fifth and final episode of Matt Groening’s comedy fantasy series “Disenchantment,” the misadventures of hard-hitting, hard-drinking Queen Bean (Jacobson), her feisty elf sidekick Elfo (Faxon), and her personal demon Luci (Andre), culminate in an epic fight for Dreamland.
Bean must defeat her mother and escape a prophecy that claims she would kill someone she loves in order to free Dreamland from Queen Dagmar’s (Horgan) evil dominion. As our heroes battle Satan, a headless body, an evil statist, and—most scary of all—their ultimate destiny, the stakes are higher than ever.
