‘The Losers’ is an American action flick directed by Sylvain White and screenplay by Peter Berg and James Vanderbilt. The film is heavily inspired by the visual book of the exact name composed by Andy Diggle Jock which was released on April 23, 2010. The film has a star-studded cast including Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Columbus Short, Jason Patrick, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, and Idris Elba.
When the movie came out it generally received negative reviews from critics and pointed out the similarities to the ‘Suicide Squad’ and ‘The A-Team.’ Some reviewers even call the movie boring and lackluster.

What Is The Losers Film About?
The story revolves around a group of an elite team of USSF (The United States Special Forces) known as The Losers consisting of Roque, Clay, Jensen, Pooch, and Cougar, who are assigned on a mission to Bolivia on a manhunt and destroy an organization running by a drug lord. The team plans to attack the target on a strike but they encounter slave children and had to call off the plan, however, their supreme leader, Max a code name, rejects their requests.
Will There Be a Sequel To ‘The Losers’?
It’s unlikely for The Losers 2 to return because of the previous movie’s ratings and a box office failure.
The movie generally earned mixed reviews from the audience and critics alike. When it comes to the ratings, it scored 48 percent on Rotten Tomatoes which is an average score of 5.20 out of 10, out of 167 voters. A reviewer commented: “The Losers is loud, fast, and unrelentingly violent – but it’s also funny and well-acted, which will make all the difference for some action fans.” On Metacritic, The Losers obtained an average score of 44 out of 100 based on 32 critics. Viewers polled by CinemaScore bestowed the movie a B grade based on a scale of A-F.

It’s been over a decade since the first movie was out and till now there has been no official word or update regarding a second movie of The Losers. It also appears that the filmmakers and the cast of the previous movie are also busy with their other projects which indicates that The Losers 2 will not be produced in the future.
