Helmed and created by Christopher Miller, The Afterparty is an American murder mystery TV series that was launched on Apple TV plus on the 28th of January 2022. The series stars Tiffany Haddish, Sam Richardson, Zoë Chao, Ike Barinholtz, Ben Schwartz, Ilana Glazer, and Jamie Demetriou.
When the series made its debut, it mainly received positive responses from the audience and critics. With the success of the first season, The Afterparty was greenlit for a second season in March 2022 just two months after the release of the first season.
The series is executive produced by Anthony King and Phil Lord along with Miller and produced by Michael Cedar, Bridger Winegar, and Aubrey Lee.
The Afterparty Season 2 Release Date
Season two of The Afterparty is scheduled to be released on April 28th, 2023, exclusively on the streaming service Apple TV+, with the first two episodes releasing on the same day. How Many Episodes Will Season 2 of The Afterparty Consist of?
It was announced in April 2022 that The Afterparty season two will consist of ten episodes with its first two episodes premiering on April 28, 2023, after which starting from the third episode it will be released on weekly basis i.e., every Friday. The tenth and last episode will be released on June 23, 2023.

The Plot for Season 2 of The Afterparty
In the second season of The Afterparty, a marriage ceremony is wrecked when the groom is killed and every attendee becomes a suspect. Detective Danner (Haddish) is back to assist Aniq (Richardson) and Zoë (Chao) by interviewing close kind, star-crossed lovers and business mates, and listening to each suspect’s account of the weekend.
