This upcoming thriller is titled ‘Hair of the Bear’ and supposedly follows a teenager who attempts to stay alive after witnessing a murder in the Canadian wilderness. Among the rumored cast members for this upcoming feature film are actors Roy Dupuis and Malia Baker who will potentially take on the primary roles of Ben and Tori respectively. Malia Baker’s character in the film is supposedly the protagonist. While not much has been made available on this upcoming thriller, there is a good chance that it is already in its pre- production stage with the filming potentially commencing soon.

James McLellan and Alexandre Trudeau will be teaming up for this upcoming thriller as the film’s directors and co- writers. Being an emerging artist, James McLellan will most likely have his directorial debut through ‘Hair of the Bear’. Alexandre Trudeau is another emerging artist whose past works include ‘Bitter Smoke’ a short film which premiered in 2019 and ‘The New Great Game’ a history themed documentary which premiered in 2012. Seeing as how the plot of the upcoming project is set in Canada, there is a good chance that most of the sequences for the film will be shot in the place.
Roy Dupuis is known as an actor/ producer and his popular on-screen appearances include Michael Samuelle in ‘La Femme Nikita’ an action themed crime drama which ran for 5 seasons, Maurice Richard ‘The Rocket’ which premiered in 2005, Christophe in ‘Toute la vie’ which ran for 3 seasons and Albert Payette in ‘Les fleurs oubliées’ a comedy, to name a few. Malia Baker is also known as an actress/ producer and some of her recent on-screen appearances are in works ‘The Baby-Sitters Club’ an adventure comedy, ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark?’ a fantasy drama and ‘Caught in His Web’ which premiered in 2022.
