Netflix’s new project is a feel good entertainer that is bound to take its viewers back to their innocent younger selves. Titled as ‘The Life List’, the film will be produced by Hutch Parker under his company Hutch Parker Entertainment. Hutch Parker Entertainment is an established production company whose works include ‘Logan’ which starred Hugh Jackman, Boyd Holbrook, Patrick Stewart and more, ‘Home Sweet Home Alone’ which premiered in 2021 and featured Archie Yates, Devin Ratray and Ellie Kemper in the cast and ‘Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile’ which is an adaptation of the book by Bernard Waber with the same title among others. Adam Brooks will be composing the screenplay for ‘The Life List’. Adam Brooks is a director, producer and writer whose works include, ‘Definitely, Maybe’ which premiered in 2008 and ‘Whatever Works’ which released in 2009. The filming for the upcoming feature film is reportedly commencing by March 2024 with both New York and New Jersey serving as the prime locations for ‘The Life List’.
What is the Plot of ‘The Life List’
Brett Bohlinger a 34 year old successful woman seems to have it all a thriving career at her family’s multimillion-dollar company and a comfortable living space alongside her decently handsome boyfriend. In the process of growing up, she seems to have forgotten about her list of life goals she’d written as a teenager. However, the unexpected death of her beloved mother, Elizabeth forces Brett to go back to her teenage self as rather than simply making her daughter the new CEO of Bohlinger Cosmetics, as their company is named, Elizabeth’s will states that Brett must fulfill the list of childhood dreams she made as a young girl. Consumed with grief, Brett does not understand her mother’s decision. Though some of her dreams can still be achieved, how can those involving reconnecting with a father who died seven years ago or to be “an awesome teacher!” work without her having to completely abandon her current life? Yet, Brett’s mother seems well prepared as she has left behind a series of bittersweet letters, offering words of wisdom, warmth, that Brett is to read as she attempts to fulfill each of her goals. As Brett pursues this lost path of her unfulfilled life list, she slowly begins to realize that “sometimes life’s sweetest gifts can be found in the most unexpected places”.
This upcoming entertainer is predicted to be a hit with its unique storyline consisting of the right amount of warmth and affection that can get its audience to go back to their nostalgic memories.
