What is Nihilism?
Nihilism is a philosophical view that rejects the concepts of morality and meaning, emphasizing that all values are meaningless and nothing can in fact be known. It was first popularized by the Russian novelist, Ivan Sergeyevich Turgenev. ‘Camino Real’ picks up on this thought that is evidently showcased by the characters of the play such as Esmeralda, a Gypsy’s daughter. Despite the complicated plotline of the play, the upcoming film adaptation is predicted to give justice to the renowned work of fiction and with Ethan Hawke heading the team, viewers can expect a complete entertainer.
