Hope Street is a recently launched British crime drama filmed in Northern Ireland. The series was released on BBC One Northern Ireland in November 2021. It was later released in the whole UK and North America in January 2022, on the channel BBC One and Britbox, separately. The series was created by Paul Marquess alongside Susanne Farrell and features Des McAleer, Amara Karan, Niall Wright, Kerri Quinn, Aaron McCusker, Niamh McGrath, Brid Brennan, and Ciarán McMenamin. The story centers on a fictional Northern Ireland coastal hamlet of Port Devine, with a prominent law department.

‘Hope Street’ Season 2 Release Date: When Is It?
As of now, BBC is yet to renew the series for a second-season run. Given the immense popularity of the first season, it’s highly expected that the program will return with season 2.
As per Emily Powers, Boss of BritBox, “Hope Street provides the mystery series popular with BritBox fans a contemporary twist and a new locale. It’s a unique take on a well-known genre in a historically relevant setting.”

Every new episode depicts a different criminal tale, but the series also pursues the challenges of colleagues of the force as they deal with police work regularly around Port Devine.
