Hart of Dixie is an American comedy-drama, adventure, thriller TV series that premiered on September 26, 2011, on The CW network. Created by Leila Gerstein, the series follows the life of Dr. Zoe Hart, a heart surgeon who accepts an offer to assist as a general practitioner in the fictional Gulf Coast town of Bluebell, Alabama. It stars Rachel Bilson, Jaime King, Cress Williams, Wilson Bethel, Scott Porter, Tim Matheson, and Kaitlyn Black as the lead star cast. No update on the renewal of the first edition is officially announced by the makers yet. As per Wikipedia, on March 14, 2015, Leila Gerstein, the creator of the show canceled the series after the fourth installment. He announced that season four of Hart of Dixie would be it is last. In addition, the CW officially canceled the show on May 7, 2015.

Cast Update
Most actors will likely show up in the fifth season of the series. Actor Cress Williams will portray Lavon Hayes, while Rachel Bilson will play Dr. Zoe Hart. Wilson Bethel as Wade Kinsella, actor Scott Porter as George Tucker, actor Tim Matheson as Dr. Brick Breeland, actor Kaitlyn Black as Annabeth Nass, Jaime King as Lemon Breeland, and McKaley Miller as Rose Hattenbarger are also slated to star.
New Yorker and recently graduated physician Zoe Hart has it all figured out; she’ll become a cardio-thoracic surgeon like her father did after graduating first in her class from medical school. Zoe chooses to accept an offer from a stranger, Dr. Harley Wilkes, to work with him at his modest practice in Bluebell, Alabama, but, after her ambitions come crashing down. When Zoe arrives in this little Gulf Coast town, she discovers that Harley has passed away and that his will leaves her half of the medical practice.
