Why won’t there be El Chapo Season 4?
Sadly, the fourth instalment won’t be renewed as the show makers already made it very clear that the third season was the final outing of the series. Besides, the third season was completed in El Chapo who got justice after Don Sol doubted El Chapo had lain low with Marcelo and sent the armed forces to locate him.
In a chat with Forbes, Silvana Aguirre stated that “This season sees the culmination of the journey the characters of El Chapo and Don Sol started in season one.” He added, “It has been a great challenge to tell this important story with all its complexities and nuances. We have been privileged to see the audience’s reaction around the world and the success of the series to date is a testament to the incredibly talented team that worked on the show in the past three years.” Meaning, the series has wrapped for good. The third season has a clean ending and is satisfactory. It’s highly doubtful that we’d be getting a new season in the future.
