‘Double Fault’ , a new project under Broken Road Productions has an entertaining plot which is guaranteed to peak your interests and is supposedly set to star Rebel Wilson, a popular Australian actress/ comedian in the lead role. Broken Road Productions is a known production company whose works include, ‘Vacation Friends’ which premiered in 2021, ‘Tag’ an action comedy, ‘Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse’ which was directed by Christopher Landon, ‘Senior Year’ which starred Rebel Wilson, ‘Zookeeper’ which premiered in 2011 and more. They recently released a sequel to ‘Vacation Friends’ titled as, ‘Vacation Friends 2’. Some of the popular works of Rebel Wilson include, ‘Pitch Perfect’ film series in which she played the role of Amy, ‘Isn’t It Romantic’ a romantic comedy, ‘Bridesmaids’ which premiered in 2011 and ‘Jojo Rabbit’ which was directed by Taika Waititi. With Rebel Wilson taking on the lead role, the upcoming feature film is predicted to a comedic entertainer.
The upcoming feature film will potentially have Rebel Wilson in the role of Cricket D’Agostino, a former tennis star turned outcast who winds up coaching a young American player. Except, there is a catch, the young American player ends up competing against the coach’s former rival’s best player. Currently, ‘Double Fault’ is predicted to commence its filming in 2024. Paramount Pictures, an established production company will be joining Broken Road Productions for the development of ‘Double Fault’. The film is alternatively titled as ‘Grand Slam’.
Liz Rosenbaum to Join the Crew for ‘Double Fault’ as its Director
Liz Rosenbaum an Award-winning director and producer will be taking up the direction for the upcoming feature film. Her filmography include, ‘Careful What You Wish For’ a mystery thriller, ‘Purple Hearts’ which premiered in 2022, ‘Ramona and Beezus’ a family comedy, ‘Pale Blue’ which premiered in 2016 and more. Jim Kehoe and Brian Kehoe, a known sibling screenwriter duo will be composing the screenplay for the upcoming feature film. The co- wrote the 2018 dramedy, ‘Blockers’ starring Leslie Mann, Ike Barinholtz, John Cena, Kathryn Newton and more. Some of the other works of Jim Kehoe are, ‘Overachievers’ which premiered in 2005 and ‘$50K and a Call Girl: A Love Story’ a romantic comedy. Brian Kehoe’s works include, ‘Miss Congeniality 2’ which premiered in 2005, ‘Electric Apricot: Quest For Festeroo’ and more.
Todd Garner and Brad Jenkel will be joining the crew as the film’s producers. Todd Garner is the founder of Broken Road Productions and is a known producer. Currently, Brad Jenkel is known as a producer at Paramount Pictures.
