Although the series did not recognize the critics, it was a bi hit with fantasy fans. The popularity of the series was such that Amazon prime released it prior o its television premiere. Considering this fact and the love for the unique characters, the makers are considering for a season 3 and 4. The series evolved from a movie screenplay by Beacham titled A killing on carnival row. The first season of the fantasy series was released in 2019. Last year the news of the renewal of season 2 was made official. It was speculated that the release would happen in mid of 2020 but was postponed due to covid situation. However, speculations have cited that the new season would be released during summer 2021. With the makers thinking about a season 3, the chances are that fans might be treated with its release. Although if it is true, then season 3 would be released in 2022 or 2023.
