The Plot of Captain America 4
There is no concrete news about how Captain America 4 will go further, but the conclusion of the Falcon and the Winter Soldier fills up the missing pieces. In the series, Sam Wilson takes the title of Captain America before being reluctant to take up the mantle. If it goes this way, the film’s story will revolve around Sam Wilson and the challenges following his new title. Captain America 4 will take forward the journey of previous films and unfold occurrences from where they have been left off.

Captain America 4: Release Date
Studio boss Kevin Feige in an interview with Collider revealed that he might know the air date for Captain America 4. The producer explained that release dates are often being pushed back or delayed after the COVID-19 outbreak. He also revealed that for the role of Captain America, he has Mackie’s in mind. This is what he said:
“Yes, we always work towards release dates, that doesn’t mean they don’t shift and change, certainly as we’ve seen lately, but we have something specific in mind.”
Currently, Marvel’s feature slate is crowded and, likely, Captain America won’t release until 2023. It must be noted that the film is still in the early stages of pre-production. No release date has been announced so far. Though it is a safe bet to say that Captain America 4 is not hitting the theatres before 2023.

The Cast of Captain America 4
There is no second thought regarding the appearance of Anthony Mackie in the lead role of Captain America but after the recent news broke out, we’re not entirely sure if he’ll return or will be replaced by a new cast.
Recently, Deadline reported that Mackie’s deal for Captain America 4 had been closed off. So his appearance remains uncertain since Marvel Studios refused to make any official statement regarding this matter. Other than Mackie, we’re expected to see the old cast reprising their roles in the highly anticipated movie “Captain America 4.”
Sebastian Stan’s return as Bucky Barnes is quite predictable as Cape and Bucky are inseparable. The audience may witness the worlds of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Captain America colliding with each other. With Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Danny Ramirez taking up their original roles in the movie as well.

When it comes to the storyline not much is known as it’s been kept under wraps, however, Nate Moore producer of the famous Marvel franchise has revealed important information on where the film will discover Wilson, comparing the newly appointed Captain America to Rocky Balboa.
“I think he’s not Steve Rogers and I think that’s a good thing,” Moore said. “Because to me, this new Cap is Rocky. He’s going to be the underdog in any situation. He’s not a Super Soldier. He’s not a hundred years old. He doesn’t have the Avengers. What happens with this guy who announces publicly kind of, without the support, ‘I’m the new Captain America.’ What happens next? I think is fascinating because he’s a guy. He’s a guy with wings and a shield, but he is a guy.”
