One of Daniel J. Strehlau’s upcoming projects is supposedly a feature film titled ‘Brooklyn’ which focuses on 3 totally different people who meet at a Brooklyn intersection where their stories unfold. Among the cast members for this upcoming project are actors Beau Knapp, RJ Cyler, Margaret Cho and more. Daniel J. Strehlau is primarily known for his short films with some of them being, ‘Not Enough’ which premiered in 2004, ‘Need’ which premiered in 2016 and ‘Loop’ which premiered in 2018. For, ‘Brooklyn’, Daniel J. Strehlau is seemingly also the writer. The upcoming feature film is supposedly the first project that Daniel J. Strehlau has taken up since the premiere of ‘Loop’.
The plot of the upcoming project appears to be in the form of multiple narratives. While the plot in itself is an intriguing one, unfortunately not much is known regarding the film’s progress as it is in its pre- production stage.

Beau Knapp who will possibly take on a primary role in ‘Brooklyn’, is a known actor whose recent on-screen appearances include ‘The Bikeriders’ a crime themed drama film, ‘Little Dixie’ another crime themed drama thriller and ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ in which he appeared in the role of Mark Sirenko, to name a few. RJ Cyler is another known actor who is also a producer. His popular on-screen appearances include Earl in ‘Me and Earl and the Dying Girl’ a dramedy, Jim Beckwourth in ‘The Harder They Fall’ a western themed action film and Andy Moon in ‘War Machine’ which premiered in 2017, among others. Margaret Cho is a known actress who recently starred in ‘Maxine’ in the titular role. Her other recent appearances are in works ‘Gianna’ a short comedy and ‘The Bystanders’ a podcast series.
In the upcoming project, Beau Knapp, RJ Cyler and Margaret Cho are rumored to portray the characters Pimp Tima, Pimp Jack and Lee Mei Xing, respectively.
