Red Hour Films is reportedly taking up a new project, this time, featuring Andy Samberg as the lead. Titled as, ‘We Men of Science’, the film will narrate the events that unfold in the life of Yoni when he invents a gate to the “anti- universe”. Yoni is a married man who works as a science professor at Cal Tech. However, he feels as if his marriage has lost its spark and with is wife Jessica being pregnant, he is desperate to avoid the impending fatherhood out of fear. That is when he is presented with an unexpected opportunity to leave his life and quite
literally his universe behind. Yoni and Dr. Hesslein proceeds to create an anti- door leading to the anti- universe which functions as the perfect complementary version of the known world. But trouble ensues when Dr. Hesslein
vanishes through it and now, consequentially, Yoni must go into the anti-verse to find him. Except, a slight complication begins to affect the seemingly ordinary task- Yoni becomes close to Jecka, the alternate universe version of Jessica.
Red Hour Films is a known production company run by operated by actor Ben Stiller and Stuart Cornfeld. They have produced a number of works of entertainment largely centered around comic elements. Some of their popular works include, ‘Zoolander’ which premiered in 2001 and starred Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell and more, ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’ which premiered in 2014 and was directed by Ben Stiller, ‘Tropic Thunder’ which premiered as a comedy based on war in 2008 and more. A lot of their productions have received numerous accolades. The upcoming feature film is supposedly premiering on Apple TV+ with Apple studios, 26 Keys Productions and Party over Here (a production company) heading its development.

Andy Samberg is a popular actor and a comedian who is primarily known for his role as Detective Jake Peralta in the popular Sitcom, ‘Brooklyn Nine Nine’. His other works include, ‘That’s My Boy’ which premiered in 2012, ‘Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping’ a musical comedy, ‘Hotel Transylvania’ film series in which he gave the voice of Jonathan, ‘Hot Rod’ which was directed by Akiva Schaffer and more.
The producers for ‘We Men of Science’ include, Ben Stiller, Nicky Weinstock, Jackie Cohn, Noah Hawley and Dan Seligmann. Additionally, Andy Siara and Raphael Bob- Waksberg will be joining the crew as the writers for the upcoming feature film. They will also act as co- producers of ‘We Men of Science’. The film is supposedly in its development stage and is predicted to commence its filming soon.
