Bruckheimer was also asked about the prospect of the Pirates franchise and the possibilities of it having a lead lady to which Bruckheimer stated,
“Yes. We’re talking to Margot Robbie. We are developing two Pirates scripts — one with her, one without.” Are you excited to see her in the pirate’s franchise? We sure are although we’ll miss seeing Captain Jack Sparrow.

Meanwhile, actress Kaya Scodelario disclosed to Screen Rant that she’s contracted for another film but would love to return for the next movie. Bill Nighy has also expressed that she wants to reprise the role as the villain Davy Jones.

And as for Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom, they have not made any statement or showed any interest yet, but we would love them to return for another movie and reprise their respective roles.
