World on Fire season 2 release date?
The release date of the series has not been confirmed yet. Since filming began in 2021, we can expect the new season to release in mid-2022. In case it doesn’t release this year, you can expect the series to release in the first half of 2023. This lessens the chances of its renewal. How the conflict played out in North Africa is a fascinating and little explored history and we are aiming to redress that balance with stories of struggle and friendship. Our diverse cast will continue to reflect the global nature of the conflict.”

According to an official statement by BBC regarding the air date, season two is set to premiere in 2023 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. However, they did not mention the exact release date.
Series executive producer Peter Bowker disclosed about how everyone is excited about getting back to work, explaining in a statement:
