From football to Black activism, Kaepernick has made a transition. Ever since his now-iconic kneeling protest in 2016 became widely known. Despite all of his preparation, Kaepernick’s primary focus is now on pushing for equal rights for all people of color, irrespective of race or ethnicity.

Will there be a season 2 of Colin in Black and White?
No, there won’t be a season 2 of Colin in Black and White. When the series premiered, Netflix announced it as a limited series. And so, there won’t be a renewal.

Exceptions have been made for other limited series on different platforms. However, this series is not expected to continue down that route.
Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, DuVernay spoke about how Kaepernick was primarily in charge of how his story was portrayed and the creator also spoke about where the story was intended to be capped: “He [Kaepernick] had a really clear idea about wanting it to stay in the land of young adulthood and not to move past high school.”
DuVernay also has another two projects in the pipeline – DMZ and Battle of Versailles – meaning the filmmaker’s schedule is already fully booked.

As aforesaid, the show is a limited series. And so, there won’t be another season. Hence, no release date.
