Ever since the Netflix show made its debut, it has been one of the most popular original series on Netflix. The first episode was aired on May 2, 2017. The Spanish money heist crime drama TV series created by Alex Pina has received tons of love and admiration from fans around the world. The series has 4 seasons and the fifth season is on its way.

Is Money Heist Season 6 happening?
Hate to tell you this but unfortunately, there won’t be a season 6 of Money Heist. It was already confirmed that season 5 will be the final outing of the show and there will be no other season in the future. The cancellation news was announced on July 31, 2020.
However, another announcement was made in November 2020 that a Korean adaptation of the Netflix show was in development. It is said that Kim Hong-sun will helm the 12 part episodes but as of now, there is no specific release date for the latest version of Money Heist.
Netflix made it clear that the fifth season will be the final instalment of the series but this doesn’t mean that all hope is lost. There have been many speculations that there might be a possible forthcoming spinoff/sequel but nothing has been confirmed yet and we just have to wait for more updates.

When is season 6 of Money Heist releasing?
As previously mentioned, Netflix axed the series after the fifth season so there won’t be a sixth season in the future.
The fifth and final season which consisted of 10 episodes was divided into two parts. The first half was released on September 3, 2021, and the second half aired on December 3, 2021.
