Ultimate Cowboy Showdown is a cowboy competition series. It is hosted by Country Music Icon Trace Adkins. The series will make its anticipated return on Wednesday, February 24th at 9 PM ET. Craig Miller, VP of Original Programming & Development for INSP, made the announcement.
“Our viewers really embraced the first season of Ultimate Cowboy Showdown,” said Miller. “They immediately connected with the real-life cowboy contestants and picked the ones they wanted to root for and against. We decided this 2nd season needed to be even bigger, so we filmed it in Texas, where everything is bigger. We added more episodes, more challenges, more contestants, and more prizes. Viewers are going to love seeing this incredibly talented and diverse cast of veteran cowboys as they lock horns.”
Miller continued, “Country music icon Trace Adkins is back in the saddle as host for season 2. Trace is a Louisiana native with a profound appreciation for what it takes to be a cowboy. He enjoys riding alongside these rough and tough wranglers to challenge their skills and cowboy code character. Then, as host and deciding judge, the cowboys must face Trace each week for an elimination round. Any cowboy who fails to perform to Trace’s expectations will be told to, ‘hit the trail’. So, things get intense quickly as no one wants to end up on Trace Adkins’ bad side!”

The series Ultimate Cowboy Showdown has been announced for the fourth season. The 10 episodes of Ultimate Cowboy Showdown will air on INSP starting on Wednesday, February 24th at 9 PM ET.
In addition, “Ain’t That Kind of Cowboy,” the new EP from Trace Adkins is set for release Friday, October 16th. Pre-orders are available now. Ultimate Cowboy Showdown was produced for INSP by Glassman Media.

What to expect from the plot of Ultimate Cowboy Showdown season four?
In Ultimate Cowboy Showdown, 14 cowboys (men and women) participate from all across the globe. They compete for a life-changing prize. Every week, these strong-willed cowboys undergo a series of physical and mental hurdles. This tests their patience and potential individually and as a team.
The series is full of explosive drama and a hell lotta ego. The last cowboy standing will walk away with a prize package. It includes a herd they can take to market, a Rawhide Portable Corral, an Arrowquip Q-Catch 87 Series Cattle Chute, the coveted Ultimate Cowboy Showdown belt-buckle, and a lifetime of bragging rights. The season 4 plot will be the same as the previous seasons. Perhaps there will be more twists and turns.
