On September 7, Warner Bros. revealed the most awaited film’s first images from “The Matrix: Resurrections” on a nifty website called “Choose Your Reality. It’s your choice to click on the red or the blue, whichever pill you choose you’ll get the images inside the Matrix and what seems like a blue pill that pops up Thomas Anderson standing on a ridge and fighting images.

The Matrix 4: Release Date
The Matrix franchise movies have a long wait time. Eighteen years have passed since the Matrix reloaded and revolutions were released in 2003.
The film will be a joint production by Village roadshow pictures, Wachowskis Productions, and Silver pictures. Warner Bros Pictures would release the film in theatres on December 22, 2021. The film was initially set for release in May 2021 alongside John Wick’sWick’s “Chapter 4”. The film was postponed for a 2022 release following the covid situation. However, rescheduled the dates and set for a 2021 release. It would also be available for digital streaming on HBO Max in the United States from the same date. Rumors have it that the film would be available for digital viewing for a month.
The Matrix 4: Cast
The original Matrix featured Keanu Reeves and Carrie Anne Moss in the role of Thomas A. Anderson, the one and trinity. Keanu and Anne are expected to reprise their respective roles in the film. The other cast making a comeback in Matrix 4 would be Jada Pinkett Smith as Niobe, Lambert Wilson as The Merovingian, Daniel Bernhardt as Agent Johnson. News has it that Priyanka Chopra, Yahya Abdul Mateen II along with Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt, Eréndira Ibarra, Andrew Caldwell, Brian J. Smith, Ian Pirie, Michael Sommers, Lavish, and Ellen Hollman would be going on board of the matrix cast. Laurence Fishburne and Hugo Weaving would not be seen playing the role of Morpheus and Agent Smith.
The Matrix 4: Plot
The Matrix revolution was released in 2003 with The Matrix revolutions. The film showcased the machines waging war against the humans of Zion. It was up to Neo to make a deal to save the existence of all. This led to a climactic battle between Neo and Agent Smith. Agent Smith had made a potentially more significant threat than the machines. Neo even sacrificed himself to eradicate Smith and reboot the Matrix, which created a temporary peace in Zion. The plot for the fourth film has been kept under wraps. With the character of Neo dead, it would be interesting to watch how Reeves makes a comeback in the film. The title for Matrix 4 has not yet been disclosed. With more prominent names in the industry joining the cast, the film is expected to be a powerhouse of action, thrill, and drama.
