On February 28th, the agency of Baek A-yeon, a well-known South Korean singer, confirmed to iMBC Entertainment that she is currently in a relationship with the intention of marriage. The agency stated that Baek A-yeon will share the news directly with her fans when she is ready.
Earlier that day, a media outlet had reported that Baek A-yeon would be marrying her non-celebrity boyfriend on August 12th of this year.
Baek A-yeon rose to fame after appearing on the first season of SBS’s audition program “K-pop Star” in 2012, where she placed in the top three. She then signed an exclusive contract with JYP Entertainment . In 2019, Baek A-yeon moved to a new agency, EDAM Entertainment, after her contract with JYP Entertainment ended.
