Inspired by Tessa Vance’s novels by Jennifer Rowe, the Murder Call is an illustrated version of the original novel with a total of 38 episodes throughout the series. Murder Calls is an Australian television series that debuted on 11 August 1997, on Nine Network and ran till 9 October 2000. Created by Hal McElroy for Southern Star Entertainment, the series follows ‘cases confronted by an unconventional team of homicide detectives, Tessa Vance and Steve Hayden. Steve is an often light-hearted “man’s man” who is moving up the career hierarchy.’
It stars Lucy Bell, Peter Mochrie, Geoff Morrell, Glenda Linscott, Jennifer Kent, and Gary Day as the lead star cast of series.
The series is produced by Peter Askew alongside Kris Noble in association with Southern Star Entertainment.

As of now, the official release date of the series Murder Calls Season 4 has not been announced by Nine Network. That said, it would be hard to predict the release date of the series, as the first chapter is not over yet.
