Two new restaurant concepts are chosen to go to the next phase, where they will each open a pop-up restaurant in Manchester for two days to attract investors.
A restaurant opposite the other is assigned to each side on the same street. The two teams/participants get two weeks to create an idea that fits with their goal and have access to an interior design team.
The restaurant offers the investors meals from its menu on the first evening’s soft opening (during which guests receive a 50% discount). The participants meet with prospective investors one-on-one the following day to discuss their company plans and answer inquiries.
Investors considering investing now provide an outline of their proposed investment; frequently, these investors are looking for interesting ideas to incorporate into their already completed ventures.
After that, the participants conduct a lunch service that the investors join as well. They frequently sit at the bar to see the kitchen in action.
